PEZHVAK

Reflected rays of light emanate from within the form onto the ground and into the surrounding space, giving the work a living presence. Their rhythm creates a poetic experiences, drawing the viewer into a sensory relationship with the work.

In this work, a central inverted triangle, acting like an inverted frame, shapes the
essence of the piece and allows light to radiate outward from within.
The form seems to breathe. Light glides across its surface, fills the fissures, and extends beyond its physical boundaries, projecting the volume onto the ground and into
the surrounding space.
The interplay of light and shadow creates a dynamic experience for the viewer. One does not merely look at the object but enters into a sensory and experiential relationship
with it.
The viewer is drawn into the light and form, and each new viewing angle creates a new experience.
Ultimately, the rigid yet sensitive form embraces the softness of light and the radiance of beams emerging from within, giving the work a poetic spirit.
Within the volume, striped crimson surfaces function like the rhythms found in Iranian architecture, recalling the repetition of columns in porticoes or patterns of brickwork
whose geometric order brings a sense of tranquility.
Yet this rhythm does not remain confined to the surface. The radiance of light extends it into the surrounding space like an echo—a soft, fluid presence that emanates from
within, dissolving boundaries and merging with the environment.
