Inspired by the geometry of Iranian architecture, this triangular work recalls traditional lattice screens, or gereh-chini, in which order and complexity coexist within a precise framework.
Through a hierarchical arrangement, the geometric cuts and layered oak structure lead toward light. The presence of light gives them a sense of vitality, as though light were flowing through the body of the work like an essence.
Light animates the form, transforming it from an inanimate object into a living presence within space. The form becomes soft and delicate, yet remains penetrating and powerful.
The convergence of a rigid structure with warm, fluid light reflects a subtle combination of inner complexity and mystery with a gentle, tender outward expression.
